Local Rides

    Anyone wishing to ride in the Jordan area is invited to ride with local TCBC riders.  Most rides will start in Lagoon Park and proceed  on lightly traveled roads to neighboring towns such as New Prague, Belle Plaine, Carver, etc.  Some rides will start in nearby towns such as Shakopee, Lonsdale, Chaska, Prior Lake.  Rides will also be posted on the TCBC site  and some will be listed in the montly TCBC newsletter.  

    All riders must wear helmets, sign a waiver and either be TCBC members or pay $2/ride.  Ride level B/C depending upon weather & road conditions and rider abilities. The advantages of TCBC membership are the newsletter subscription, insurance coverage, discounts at local bike shops and structured rides.

May Rides:

Friday 2nd.  Kolacky Kruise, 35-40 miles.  Lonsdale to Montgomery loop.  CANCELLED due to weather.

Tuesday 6th.  Jordan Jaunt, 20-25 miles. 6:15 pm, meet by the waterfall at Lagoon Park.  Ride to a neighboring town and back.  Expect some hills.  Weather questionable?

Thurs 8th.  Shakopee Shuffle, 20-25 miles.  10:15 am at Huber Park (First & Fillmore Sts,).  We'll ride a paved trail to Chaska, then ride the dikes there.  Several lunch opportunites in Chaska or Shakopee.
